Bamboo Shades - Bamboo Blinds Installation Instructions
INSIDE MOUNT INSTALLATIONStart by Measuring 1/2" in from each edge of the window frame and mark with pencil or pen. Then place the outer edge of each bracket on these marks and attach into the top of the window frame with the screws provided.VALANCE NOTE: There are no side returns for an inside mount bamboo shade. OUTSIDE MOUNT INSTALLATIONCenter the blind over the window opening at the desired height. Mark both ends of the headrail on the wall with a pencil or pen. Then measure 1/2" in from those marks with a pencil. Place the outside edge of each bracket on those marks and attach with the screws provided. See pic on right for position of brackets.Mounting your Bamboo Shade in the WindowOnce the brackets are installed and level with one another remove the wing nuts from the brackets and place the shade into the brackets. With the screws/threads coming down through the mounting slots on each end of the headrail. Reinstall the wing nuts onto the screws and hand tighten.Side Returns For Outside Mount Natural Roman Shades:All outside mount bamboo blinds come standard with side returns which are designed to cover the two exposed ends of the headrail. Use the velcro provided to attach the side returns to the end of the wooden headrail as shown.Additional Info:Our Bamboo Shades come in two styles:roman fold (shown in black and white picture on right) and roll-up. |
