Motorized Window Shades and Blinds with Remote Control
At BuyRightBlinds.com we offer a wide variety of motorization options for our window blinds and window shades. We offer both Battery Operated Motors and 110V Motors. The 110 Volt Motors are stronger and work better for larger windows and heavier blinds and shades.
For smaller and average size window applications the battery powered motor works fine. Battery is also the better choice if the window is in an area where no plug outlets are available. Motorized shades and motorized blinds are a very popular choice for consumers for both home and office use. We have motorized roller shades, motorized phifer sheerweave sun shades, motorized wood blinds and motorized faux wood blinds in both the 2" louver size and the 2 1/2" slats. The following window treatment products can be ordered with motorization: Motorized Window Blinds and Window Shades by Category: Roll-Up Window Shades - Also known as Roller Shades. Our roller shades are available in vinyl and those can be ordered in colors that are the same color on both sides (known as duplex) and where the color choice is just shown inside the home and a neutral color to the outdoors - which is great for condos and homes in gated communities. They are also available as blackout fabric roller shades and come in two patterns. We offer the Midnight and Nightfall collections. All the colors show white to the outside. the Midnight style are all solid colors and the NIghtfall Collection are patterns. The pattern has a sort of tweed type look to it. Mounting hardware like brackets and end end pins are included and can be mounted as an inside mount, side wall mount or outside mount. Installation is a snap too. You will be able to choose from the various motorization options on the order form and all prices are displayed there. Roll-Up Sheerweave Shades - Similar to the Roll-Up Window Shades mentioned above these also come in a roll up style but the materials available from the Phifer Company and mostly all light filtering, sun blocking types of material. It's sort of a plastic coated screen mesh type look and feel and with the open weave it allows light to filter into the room. Depending on the style chosen different amounts of light and view can be achieved. Some of the patterns are as small as a 3% openness and others are as much as 25% oppenness factor. If you are looking to block out the harmful rays from the sun then this is probably the best choice. And with motorization also available you can have the best of sunlight blocking, views and automation found anywhere. Our Sheerweave shades are also available in blackout. Roman Style Soft Fold Sheerweave Shades - The Roman Fold option makes for a classy look. Instead of the standard roll up with clutch or motor you can have your sheerweave shades manufactured in the Roman Style which means the fabric lifts in a soft fold manner instead of rolling up on a tube. Remote Control Choices - You can choose from a Single Channel Remote Control or a Five Channel Remote to operate your motorized window shades from BuyRightBlinds.com. The single channel remote is the least expensive and best for single shade applications or where you don't mind one control lifting all the shades in a room at one time. The five channel remote is used to program up to five settings so you can individually lift and lower 5 different groups of window shades individually and to various heights. Valance Options for our Window Shades - You can choose from a cassette clutch or 6" matching fabric valance. Railroad, Railroading of Sheerweave Fabrics - If your sheerweave shade is wider than the max width available for a given fabric then we have to do what's called 'railroading' of the fabric which means our factory turns the fabric sideways and adds to the height of shade near top with a heat sealed seam so the seam only shows across the width when the shade is lowered enough for it to be visible. Extra notes - All of our window shades and sun shades come standard on an aluminum tube. We do not use the cheap wooden tube rollers or the mechanical spring type roller tubes.
